OUR INITIATIVES

Interviews

We've done several interviews with some of our teachers and also with our american students. We've only uploaded the interview with our philosophy teacher because it was the best of them, but we've also done one with our history teacher about the creation of the EU and with our valencian and english teacher about the minoritary languages.
It's been really interesting to do an interview with some students from North Carolina, America because they barely knew about the UE so we had to explain them some things that we had learned while we were doing the first part of the contest.

Our space in the wall

We have a little space in the main wall of the school and we have hung some things that we have done for the contest, such as the European Union flag or some information about this year's EU elections and the candidates from Spain, at the same time that we've explained the way the inform the people through their socials networks, as twitter or facebook. We've also investigate about the candidate that lives in our comunity, Mister Enrique Guerrero, and the projects he works on.

Activities with the little ones

We have developed two projects with the little ones of our school. The first one takes place in primary school, where we have done some presentations explaining the effect of the EU nowadays in our lives apart from how it was created and which are their main problems. The second one has been developed in the first classes of our school, where there are kids of about 3-4 years. We have told them basic information about the EU, and we have show them what's the flag like and what does it represent. It has been amazing to work with all of them because they've learned a lot.

EURODEVESA, PRESENTATIONS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

Last friday we presented to the children in last year of primary how the EU works and the ways in which it affects our lives. Then, to make sure that they had been paying attention, we did a quiz and we rewarded the ones who knew the answers. It was extremely satisfying to share some of the knowledge we have acquired while we were doing the first part of the Euroscola contest with some other students.

OUR LAST ACTIVITY

The contest that we done to the 1st students has already  ended and we are so proud of the exit of them. The winners had gotten an award for their effort and the knowledge about the European Union.
